House Rules

Swimming Pool Rules

Opening Hours: 09:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Safety: Use of the pool at your own risk.
Children: Must be supervised by parents or guardians.
Shower: Please shower before entering the pool.
No Diving, jumping or Running: For safety, no diving, jumping or running at the pool.
Pool Bench: You may sit or lie down on the bench in the pool. Standing is not allowed.
Food and Drinks: No food or drinks allowed in the pool area to prevent hygiene issues and insects.
Water: Water in plastic bottle or cup is allow at the pool area.
Airbeds: Don’t leave your airbed and toys at the pool area. Take it with you to your accommodation.
Clothing: Due to hygiene no underpants under swimwear.
Swim Diapers: Non-potty trained children must wear a swim diaper.
Respect for the Pool Area: Please ensure the pool area is kept clean and tidy. Do not leave trash or personal items behind.

Waste Disposal Rules

Please make sure to separate your waste properly.

Waste Bins: Waste bins are located outside the front gate:

1. Plastic and Metal (Yellow Bin) – Collected once a month.
2. Paper and Cardboard (Blue Bin) – Collected once a month.
3. Glass (Green Bin with “Staklo”) – Collected once per 2 months.
4. Other Waste (Green Bin) – Collected every Thursday.
No air: Make your waste as small and flat as possible. Let the air out of containers and fold them flat.
Deposit bottles: Do not throw deposit bottles in waste containers. Bring deposit bottles back to the supermarket.
Opening: When opening the parasol, insert the pin into the 2nd hole.
Waste bag: Use a garbage bin to throw away waste.
Waste bags and toilet paper: Additional waste bags and toilet paper is not provided by the resort.

Parasols

Safety: Ensure the parasol is securely closed when not in use to prevent it from being blown away in the wind.
Closing: Close your parasol in the evening and whenever you leave the accommodation. Also, close it during the day if it’s windy.
Wind Warning: In Istria, strong winds with sudden gusts can occur. This wind is called Bora and comes from the mountains.
Opening: When opening the parasol, insert the pin into the 2nd hole.

Barbecues and Open Fire:

BBQ place: It is strictly prohibited to use open fire in other areas of the resort than the designated BBQ place..
Caution: Guests should exercise caution when using fire and ensure that it is always monitored.
Dry period: It is prohibited to use the bbq and candles in extreme dry weather conditions.
BBQ Ashes: The ashes from the BBQ must be cleaned up the following day to prevent fire hazards.
Grilling Food: Grilling food (including electric grills, BBQ etc.) is not allowed on the terraces of the houses. It is only permitted at the designated BBQ area.

Bed, sheets and towels

Bedwetting: If bedwetting happens, please inform us immediately so we can change the sheets.
Mattress: In case of bedwetting, we may charge you for a new mattress.
Stains: Don’t clean blood or other stains on beds, sheets, towels, or furniture yourself. Inform us, we have special cleaning products to remove stains without leaving marks.
Towels: Towels are for bathroom use only. Don’t take them to the beach or pool.
Balcony: Use the drying rack for towels and cloths, do not use the railing of the balcony.
Cleanliness: Please keep the linens clean and avoid using them for non-hygienic purposes.

Furniture

Furniture: It is not allowed to take indoor furniture, like chairs, cushions etc. outside.
Stains: Don’t try to clean blood or other stains on beds, sheets, towels, or furniture yourself. Please inform us, as we have special cleaning product.
Damage to Furniture: Any damage to furniture will be charged. Please take care of all property and report any damage immediately.

Fancoils / Heat Pump

Do Not Touch: Do not touch the fancoils or the temperature controls on the wall. There is a penalty of 500 euros for doing so.
Settings: Ask us to change the settings if needed.
Windows and Doors: Keep windows and doors closed to keep the house cool.
Temperature: The indoor temperature has been set with health considerations in mind.
Entry to Accommodation: We reserve the right to enter the accommodation to close windows and doors.
Fair Use: The cooling and heating system is free to use based on fair use and healthy circumstances. If abused and/or changed, we may charge a fee of 20 euros per day.

Parking

Parking area: Please park your car only in the designated parking spaces.
Smart parking: Park in a way that allows other guests to have space and easily drive in and out.
Speed Limit: The maximum speed limit in and around the resort is 10 km/h. Please drive carefully and respect other guests’ safety.

Internet

Wifi: Available free of charge on a “fair use” basis.
No streaming and gaming: It is suitable for checking emails and browsing the internet. Not for downloading, streaming movies or video games. For this use your own 4G connection.
EU: Croatia is probably included in your EU mobile bundle. Check with your provider to avoid any surprises.

Noise

Pool and communal area: If you want to listen to music, please use your earphone.
Silent: Not everyone has the same music preferences, make sure your music cannot be heard by others.
Accommodation: When playing music inside your accommodation, keep it at a low volume so only you can hear it.
Peace and quietness: Cattunari di Valle is a place for peace and quietness, not a noisy campsite.
Silent hours: From 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM, all guests should be quiete. Please be considerate of local residents and other guests.

Arrival and Departure

Check in: From 16:00 PM.
Check-out: No later than 9:30 AM.
Garbage: Please empty the kitchen and bathroom waste bins.
Dishwasher: Make sure to empty the dishwasher and put everything back in the cupboards.
Belongings: Take all your belongings with you.
Time of departure: Traffic jams at the border and Capodistria (Koper) are common in summer. Feel free to ask for the best departure time.

Cattunari di Valle Rules

Smoking: Cattunari di Valle is a non-smoking and non-vaping area. Smoking is only permitted outside the gates of the resort.
Alcohol: Excessive alcohol use is not allowed.
Drugs: Drug use is not allowed.
Respect for Nature: Please do not disturb or damage the local flora and fauna. Treat the environment with respect.
Noise Pollution: Be mindful of noise levels at all times, even outside of quiet hours. Excessive noise is not tolerated.
